It's an everyday scent that isn't too overly sexy or nighttime, and I would feel comfortable wearing it to work, or to run errands but it doesn't grab me. I always think of some lovely bubble bath when I smell it. The citrus and musk hit my nose really hard and I thought I would give it away. Soft floral. A friend and I beelined straight for Mecca Cosmetica to spritz ourselves with this perfume. It is clean but it is more warm, not so fresh but more like clean skin. It smells like shampoo. It was a gift from my parents, and now that I don't see them much their gifts are more precious. I could not get enough of the smell, and despite the public setting, I was not subtle with the self-sniffing. I have water to try this for ages and never was able to find it in any of my local stores. I loved this and wore it for a long time but now it gives me a headache. I lay now, having sprayed Angel Nova on the jacket next to me before going to bed, somehow oozing in Amazing Graces ever familiar smell that rubbed off onto me from a pajama shirt I accidentally sprayed with it a few days ago. It is that clean sheets/ laundry detergent plus some citrus thrown in kind of smell. Would be interested to see if I could find an original to compare them both. There is no doubt Coty has changed the formula, probably to make it cheaper, the scent is now sometimes sharp and sometimes smells a bit like bug spray and it has absolutely no longevity or sillage, can barely smell it. If you like powdery scents, you'll enjoy the softness of Amazing Grace. I think of this more as a comfort scent to wear to bed or to just snuggle up with under a blanket with a book. Lasts better than I thought it would. Amazing Grace is a shy and guarded flower, she does not yield too easily. and it's a good squeaky clean scent on its own. It actually smells very clean. I dont smell much of the other notes on me, they definitely take a back seat and let the white florals do all the work. Fragrantica Trends is a relative value that shows the interest of Fragrantica members in this fragrance over time. I have to put my nose on my skin to smell it and I just put it on. The musk in this turns both plasticky and the bad sort of sweat after about 10 minutes on me. Its what I wear when Im feeling vulnerable. Perfect for spring and summer. Lingers for hours, clean and pure. It smells comforting to me. There's something summery in this scent, something from the sea too. My best advice is to layer and maybe just go for the body spray.
