Arrived with a shorted sata cable. The protection circuit OCP worked perfect and PSU turned itself off when tried to pull over 700 watts. Engineered to meet maximum power output at a server-grade 50°C temperature rating. Please make sure that you are posting in the form of a question. The first power supply went dead after about 3 hours and it was determined that pin #4 did not have any voltage. There's a problem loading this menu right now.
It is so very quiet since the fan does not run most of the time.

I've had no issues what-so-ever and will be back here to update this review if anything changes. Installation is faster, since you can mount the power supply in the case first, and then attach only the cables you need. I purchased the AX 860 for a brand new gaming PC build and it has been just awesome!
Corsair RMx series power supplies give you extremely tight voltage control, quiet operation, Gold-certified efficiency, and a fully modular cable set. Corsair RM650x power supply board is a CWT design and the build quality is actually very high and uses all Japanese capacitors in the primary and secondary stage.
We also think the 5VSB rail is strong enough for a mid-capacity PSU like the RM650x. Since this PSU features a single +12V rail, we do not have anything to say about its power distribution.
On top of that, the RMi units use a higher-quality FDB fan.
seems I should have simply gone with a more expensive company that actually does QA. Can install it fan up or fan down. Apparently, Corsair is confident enough in the RM650x to arm it with a 10-year warranty. Premium components for great performance with very low noise We only wish there were more companies doing battle at this level.
