She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of over 30 years, Vernon Nelson, Jr.; two brothers, Jesse “Sonny” Green and Larry Green; and two sisters, Sonia Hankins and Nora Cunningham. Brenda enjoyed being outdoors and going to the movies, but most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family and her daughter, Adalynn.
