I was initially against them putting the android emulator on their devices because I wanted everything to be "pure". BBRY knew devs were hesitant so why not make it easy for them. I still don't like the idea of it, but I don't have a z10 but for the time being it will be good for the apps that aren't there. I could only imagine to have skype running correctly we might have to wait until an OS update as well to get the newer Android compatibility running.

After Priv and DTEKs lose support, I think they could back out of OHA and update runtime if they wanted to. BlackBerry is done with BB10 forever and for always.

Blackberry and TCL/BBMO are now members of the OHA, so legally they can't update the runtime in BB10. If their android app is successful running as an "emulated" app, why change it?
