Just five minutes walk from the Twi Towers and main shopping area. Breakfast was a buffet with a vast range of food from fruit to fried noodles. We regret that you have encountered such as experience at Hotel Maya. If the hotel had 5 star service, a check in that room should have been made to ensure that it meets the needs of the client. When I first checked in, I found the bathtub water faucet was broken, cannot be used to turn off the water. Some evident quick fix can be observed in the room. I have to admit I was skeptical despite the staff repeatedly warning me about reported parapsychic close encounters by previous guests. Read in a review about the nearby cemetery but I honestly I felt so at home I didn't even notice it thru out my 7days stay. In 2 days we need to move room 2 times.Then a simple thing which I think is annoying is when I put a note to refill tea bag (when they make up my room) and it was ignored. First time staying in Maya Hotel. First impression: no welcoming atmosphere, reception very small indeed and nothing special about the setting or service, in other words just complete the formalities, room access card given to you and from there you have to find your own way....5*?????.
