The Police later serve Gary with a restraining order. Oakman sends Joe to Canada to kill Mac, since Tom won't. Mac can't get a Judge to grant him a warrant for Galveston Industries, so Greg gets Mac the warrant he needs.
Mac and Karen confront Michael. Jeff Cunningham is mad that Abby is having an affair with a married man (Richard) in front of the kids. Abby and Greg get married. Abby makes Richard sign a contract that she will be in control of Gary's investment in Daniel, and if he doesn't sign, she'll make sure he doesn't get any money.
Manny ignores him, so Harold shoots Manny. Mack doesn't believe Manny works for the government, and finds out he is a gun runner.
He sends Jill Bennett. Olivia goes to Harold, and Manny knocks on the door so he hides her in the closet. Unfortunately, Greg insured it for $15 million, so he won't pay the ransom. Abby invites a famous record producer, Jeff Munson, to hear Ciji sing. He invites Val over to work on a story, and then asks her to sleep with him to get even with Gary and Judy. In front of Val and Gary, Amanda and Danny have a huge argument and scream at each other because Danny wants Chester in the divorce. It's a love letter to Val that he loves her, but just can't get over the fact that she is having Gary's baby. When Amanda gets home, Chester is gone so she goes to Danny's.
Jill drives by and sees his car. Diana, recuperating, watches the party out of her window, and sees Chip and Ciji kissing. He doesn't realize that the first singer is Amanda. Cathy still wants to tell the truth, and is depressed over the situation. Anne's upset that Greg spends all his time on the committee, and not with her. He goes into a room that is filled with technical equipment and white coated technicians. Mac pushes the doctor, who finally admits that Pomerantz is alive and living in Canada. Ginger's singing in a club, so the Wards go to San Francisco. Lilimae reaches the roof and yells at Joshua to let Cathy go. The next day at work Karen tells Gary the babies are alive. Charles gives her plans he had drawn up, but Abby finds they were made before he came back into her life. When Karen tells Paige, she flips out and says her grandparents hate her because they hated Mac. Greg wakes up and Galveston is in his room and says that he is dying and it's time for him to forgive and forget. On the way to the mountains, Karen breaks her ankle at a gas station. J.R. visits Knots Landing as he wants to drill for oil offshore and the community protests. Mac apologizes to Karen and gives her flowers, but she's still angry, and he accuses her of blowing it out of proportion. She slaps Gary but they make up. Linda secretly meets with Brian Johnston. Val doesn't believe her.
