In Round 7 of the 2014 season, after beating the South Sydney Rabbitohs 15–14, the Bulldogs became the first club to win three consecutive matches by 1 point. Due to the 2020 COVID-19 season postponement and season rescheduling, it is unclear whether or not the Bulldogs will play a match at Belmore. The Bulldogs have played in predominantly blue and white strip since the club entered the league in 1935. At the club's foundation in 1935, it was known only as 'Canterbury-Bankstown', without an animal mascot.
