Our town offers more than just coastal views and a great location north of Sydney with some of the best fishing spots in Australia on offer. No problems Donna, will update more as i go, still yet to explore more on the Wangi Wangi side of lake mac, mainly stick close to Swansea/belmont side as it has proven good and is consistant, but the other side may change my mind.
While great fishing spots abound in Lake Macquarie, with so many boats and other watercraft present we decided to get away from all the traffic and hit the shallows on a rising tide for the rest of the afternoon. These Spots do not have a guarantee in catching fish but i personally have caught fish at all of these locations in different weather conditions, best to check weather and tide reports as usual. Two great little inlets that are about waist height water, (kids love it), Perfect in Summer, Fishing is slow but perfect spot for first timers (kids).
